Program Description – A funeral director dedicates their time and efforts to helping others. A typical day is spent with the client families he or she is assisting, arranging funeral preparations, supervising visitations and funerals, and conducting post-mortem procedures. A funeral director also spends time maintaining computer databases, completing county, state, and federal documentation for the deceased and client families, and supporting the corporation in its business ventures. Finally, he or she will devote time to preparing the deceased by embalming, applying cosmetics, dressing, casketing, or cremating those entrusted to their care.
Program Requirements – A GPA of 2.5 overall. To be eligible for PIMS admission, you must submit an online application and all supporting materials listed below.
